Filler metals list in WeldTrace

Filler Metals

The filler metals list in the WeldTrace Library has over 3000 filler metals. You can use them in projects when creating consumables or when writing welding procedures or creating welder qualifications. If you do not find the filler metal in our library, you can add one and it will be available only for the users in your account (company).
Filler metals list
  1. Open this sub menu in the Library menu;
  2. The list is shown by the alloy grouping;
  3. Enter any term here to search;
  4. Each filler metal will have a WT Reference number shown as "FM-xxxx". You will have to use this WT Ref # when importing the consumables list with a csv file to a project (read this article about importing the consumables list to a project - click here). Click on the ">" button to view more information about the filler metal in the accordion;
  5. Click here to add a filler metal to the library - see below;

Add a filler metal
  1. Pick the alloy;
  2. Pick the process;
  3. Pick the AWS spec number;
  4. Pick the F number;
  5. All the other fields are option. Click here to save;

  1. Once you add the filler metal, it will be given a WT reference. You will have to use this WT Ref # when importing the list of consumables to a project through a csv file (read this article about importing the consumables list to a project - click here);
