Data Book

Data Book or Project Data Book or Manufacturer’s Data Report (MDR) or Turnover Pack or Handover Pack, as they are known through the industry can be generated quickly for the whole project or specific parts of a project. There are three steps in generating a data book:

1. Select the tags or drawings
   
1. If you select all the tags or drawings, the data book will contain data for all the welds in the project. If you select specific tags or drawings, the data book will contain data for the welds that are in the selected tags or drawings;
   
2. Configure and reorder the sections
   
1. You may include or exclude specific sections that are to appear in the data book and rearrange the order of the sections;
3. Create or select the header & footer to use
   
1. You may create a new header & footer or use the default header & footer for the data book;
   

Just click the "Generate" button and the data book will be put together. You will receive an email once the data book has been generated and the email will show you the link to download the file. You may also visit the Data Book list page where you will find the link to download the file. The link to download the data book will expire at the end of the day it is generated.
