Edit a tag in WeldTrace

Edit a Tag

You may edit the details of a tag at any time. Click on the tag number from the tags list and click on the edit button.
Edit a Tag
  1. The tag number cannot be edited like the other fields;
  2. Click on this button to edit the tag number (see this article Primary Field Edit on how to edit and save a primary field);
  3. The equipment number, line number and line class can be edited normally;
  4. The drawings that are associated with this tag that can be removed will be shown above the line with "x" to remove them;
  5. The drawings that are associated with this tag that cannot be removed will be shown below the line. These drawings will have one or more welds and so cannot be disconnected from a tag, unless the welds are edited and associated with a different tag first;
  6. You can move the slider to change the status of the items in a tag (these are the statuses available: Planned, Welded, Finished, Coated, Packed and Shipped);
  7. You can move the sliders to change the NDE settings for the tag;
