WeldTrace is hosted in the cloud and is available as an internet based software. You will have to use a browser like Google Chrome and securely sign in. WeldTrace has been built like an internet banking application. So, if you are happy to use net banking, you can feel safe using WeldTrace.
WeldTrace utilizes some of the most advanced technology for Internet security available today. When you access WeldTrace, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology protects your information using both server authentication and data encryption. When you log in, you will see a small padlock icon in the address bar, indicating that a secure connection has been established to our server.
Each user in your organization will have a unique username and password that must be entered each time a user logs in. The password is hashed and salted, which means that it is encrypted and only the user who knows the password can log in. Forgot password and reset password options are available, just in case the user forgets the password or wants to change it. All the users' log in entries are recorded with the IP address.
WeldTrace is hosted with Digital Ocean, which is a platform as a service provider, in a secure server environment that uses a firewall and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. We use Digital Ocean's data centers in the United States. You can read about Digital Ocean's security policy here:

Data is stored with MongoDB Atlas in their data centers in the United States. All the data, is automatically replicated to a secondary database and backed up. You can read about MongoDB Atlas' security policy here:
