Instant Messaging
You can exchange instant messages with other project users from within the weld details page. Instant messaging is available only for the users of the Pro plan.
- You will see the most recent message in this area in the weld details page. Click on the "Instant Messages" button to view all the messages;
- The messages that you receive from other users will be shown here with the name of the sender and the date and time the message was sent;
- The notifications bell icon will show the number of unread messages;
- To send an instant message to another project user type @ followed by a few characters of the user's name. Matching results will be displayed. Select the user and type the message. You may send a message to more than one user at a time;
- Click here to send the message;
- The messages that you receive from other users will be shown here with the name of the sender and the date and time the message was sent;
- The messages that you send to other users will be shown on the right hand side;
- You will see the instant messages that are sent to you in the notifications area of the dashboard;
- The message will be displayed along with the name of the user who sent the message;
- You will see the instant messages icon in the info column of the welds list page with the number of messages exchanged for that weld;
