Revising a test pack in WeldTrace

Revise a Test Pack

The revise button in the test pack view page will open up a new page, which will look similar to a test request create screen. Through this method, you may select a weld to be tested again.
Revise a test pack
  1. The test pack number;
  2. The test request details. You can enter the revision notes here;
  3. Click on add or remove to add welds to this pack or remove welds from this pack. See below for more information;
  4. Tests selected previously will be shown with the check boxes checked. If they have results, the background colour will be red if failed & green if passed;
  5. A failed test for a failed weld cannot be retested;
  6. The retest cell will be greyed out. To retest a failed weld, select the appropriate tests for the repair weld that was created automatically (see project configuration page for the settings);
  7. Check boxes will be available in the “Re-test” column, only if a test was previously selected for the weld. Otherwise these cells will be greyed out. If a test type was previously not selected, check boxes will appear & the “Re-test” column for the corresponding tests will be greyed out;
  8. You may edit the penalty fields in this page. Click on revise to create a revision of the pack. If you need to add or remove welds, you need to do that first and then click revise;

The weld numbers and tests that have been revised will be highlighted in the printed test requests. Revised test requests will have revision numbers created automatically.
