WeldTrace Mobile App
The WeldTrace mobile app is for welders, welding supervisors and welding inspectors to use in the workshop or in the field. They can access details about a weld, view drawings, WPS, information about the materials and exchange instant messages. Please note that your account should be subscribed to the "Pro" plan for you to use the WeldTrace mobile app.

Welders can claim welds
When a welder views a weld and if the weld is in the "Planned" or "Allocated" stages, the button "Edit/Claim" will be enabled. A welder will be able to claim the weld, if the WPS is selected. If the welder is qualified to the WPS and is in continuity for the processes in the WPS, the welder's ID will be populated for the root, fill and cap passes. The weld completed date will be set to the current date and it can be changed. Once the save button is pressed, the data will be uploaded to WeldTrace server and the data will be saved.
Welding Supervisors can update weld details
Welding supervisors will be able to pick a WPS and allocate welders. They can also pick heat numbers, mark welds as complete and exchange instant messages with other users.
Instant Messaging
You can send instant messages from the mobile app, get notified when messages are received from other users, and reply to messages. You will be able to improve communication and workflow.
View all the data
Welders, supervisors, inspectors and other users will be able to view drawings, WPS, welder qualifications and other data in the projects.
