Manage welding procedures with WeldTrace

WPS (All)

The WPS (All) page will show the list of WPS created in WeldTrace and BYO WPS and the associated PQRs.
List of all the approved WPS
  1. Click on this menu to open the WPS & PQR sidebar;
  2. The WPS (All) menu - this will include BYO WPS and qualified WPS created in WeldTrace;
  3. Click here to perform an advanced search to find a WPS;
  4. Click here to add a BYO WPS - read the next article to learn about this;
  5. Click here to open the bulk file upload interface - read this article to find out how;
  6. Click here to import the BYO WPS through a spreadsheet file - read this article to find out how;
  7. Click here to export the WPS list;
  8. Switch this slider button to view the WPS that are marked as 'inactive' (see the article on editing a WPS to find more information);
  9. Open the accordion to view more information about the WPS;
  10. The tick icon in the info column means that the WPS is active and can be used in a project. Inactive WPS will have a cross and cannot be used. Click on the paperclip icon to view the PDF file;
  11. The designation column will show the data for WPS created in WeldTrace. This feature is not available for BYO WPS;
  12. The processes, range qualified data, PWHT, PQRs and other information about the WPS can be found here;
  13. If you see the numbers in blue for materials, they indicate that the base metals have been picked from the WeldTrace database;
  14. When you click on the base metal number, this window will pop open with the details of the base metal (shown as an inset);
