This knowledge base article is about the account level roles and privileges of users in WeldTrace. For project level roles and access control, please refer
this knowledge base article.
Super User
Has overall control over the account. There can only be one Super User per account. If this role has to be reassigned to another user, please contact WeldTrace Support.
Account Administrator
Has almost all the same privileges as the Super User, except the ability to access the "Admin" page or to create a project.
If the "Admin" checkbox is checked, the Account Administrator will have access to the Admin menu, from where the user can access the account data usage, archived projects and other functions;
If an Account Administrator is given access to "Create Project," that user will be able to create projects;
Account Administrators will not be able to edit other Account Administrators and change their roles. Only the Super User will be able to edit the Account Administrators. However, an Account Administrator can edit users.
Account Users
Account Users can view only the projects they are given access to. They may also be given access to other menus at the time a user is created or when edited. Please check this article for giving access to account level menus:
Create a userLogin for Welders
If your account is in the "Projects+" or "Enterprise" plans, you can give access to WeldTrace for any of your welders. Welders who are given login access will be able to use the WeldTrace mobile app and claim welds or update the weld data in the field. Find out more about this feature in this article:
